Seven hours. Seven days. Seven hours every day for seven days.
Every day, for seven hours each day, she sews a tapestry. A chador is tied around her neck, a noose keeping her in place. She prays. She speaks only Farsi. She wears a wedding dress and light hijab.
She moves, sings, prays, sews, and persists.
Seven hours, every day, for seven days.
